6th - 12th Grade Summer Reading Program Rules
- This program is for students entering 6th grade through 12th grade in the fall.
- Participants will log the books they read in entirety from the time of registration to the end of the reading program. Registration begins May 27 and the program will run through July 12th. Do not log a book that you did not finish! ***Please note that participant reading logs will be monitored by library staff and if you log an unfinished book it will be removed from your reading log.***
- Chapter books and graphic novels must be a minimum of 150 pages long to be counted toward your reading goal. Audiobooks will count toward your reading goal but only if the print version is a minimum of 150 pages long. ***Please note that participant reading logs will be monitored by library staff and if you log a book that does not meet the minimum page number criteria, it will be removed from your reading log.***
- You may log a book one time only. Even if you read the same book more than once during the course of the program, you may not log it more than once. ***Please note that participant reading logs will be monitored by library staff and if you log a book more than once, each subsequent logging will be removed from your reading log, leaving only the first logging to count toward your reading goal.***
- You must write at least a basic review of the book you've read.
- Points will be awarded accordingly:
