Introducing Libby!!!

Schmaling is pleased to begin offering the Libby app through OMNI OverDrive for e-books and e-audiobooks in addition to Boundless through eRead Illinois. You can download the app or browse the collection here: https://omnilibraries.overdrive.com/ Use your 13-digit Schmaling Library Card barcode number and the last 4 digits for the PIN. Please note that access to Libby and the OMNI OverDrive collection through Schmaling is restricted to Schmaling Library Patrons only. If you use Schmaling reciprocally, contact your home library to inquire about your home library's e-book platforms.

eRead Illinois

Check out e-books FOR FREE! Patrons can now use their e-readers (iPad, iPhone, Android, Windows, Kindle Fire, Nook, Sony Reader devices, and many more) to check out and read from a large selection of books being offered through the Illinois State Library program eRead Illinois. Patrons will need a valid Schmaling Memorial Public Library card to check out e-books. You must therefore stop by the library to receive your login instructions. Be sure to visit the eRead Illinois website to learn more about this beneficial opportunity.
